Stacy Innerst was born in Santa Monica, California and studied art and history at the University of New Mexico. His work has appeared in media in the U.S. and abroad including the Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Film Roman, MSNBC, New York Times, Philadelphia Inquirer, PBS, Harper Collins Book Publishers, and Harcourt Children’s Book Publishers. He’s received many awards for his work including recognition from American Illustration, Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and a Gold Medal from the Parent's Choice book awards.
